The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 26th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season on April 12 at the Lucknow Cricket Stadium. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST.
Both LSG and DC have had contrasting starts to the season. LSG, led by KL Rahul, have won four of their five matches and are currently at the top of the IPL 2024 points table. DC, on the other hand, have won just two of their five matches and are languishing in the bottom half of the table.
The match between LSG and DC is expected to be a close contest. LSG will be relying on the likes of Rahul, Quinton de Kock, and Marcus Stoinis to provide them with a strong start. They will also look to their bowlers, led by Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi, to restrict the DC batsmen.
DC, meanwhile, will be banking on their skipper Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, and David Warner to fire with the bat. Their bowling attack, led by Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje, will also need to be at their best to contain the LSG batsmen.
